I found that the storytelling and artwork complimented each other really well and that The Trip was a good read. The book is heavy on the violence and gore and some of the language might offend some people, but isn't that the whole point of horror? To push boundaries and offend people? Tripis a good read and I enjoyed it. I think the messages it delivers are ones that we always need reminding of and while I do think the narrative could have gone deeper, it didn't necessarily hurt the story. There aren't a lot of comic books out there like Trip and especially not ones that are aimed at women; for that reason I'm very glad that it exists and I hope the creators find other stories for Vee and Lou in the future because I can't be the only one that wants to check in on them.
