Though I'd fallen out of Marvel books a long time ago, Daredevil is one that I've wanted to reconnect with as it's the right kind of street level character that can tell some intense stories while also bringing in some top notch elements from the legal world. Charles Soule is almost a given when it comes to being ideal for this but I was wary because of the way he blazed through stories in Inhumans previously. What these three issues do, however, is to take its time in getting to what it wants to do and exploring it in a more relaxed yet tense fashion because of what's happening in the area. And a good deal of that comes thanks to Ron Garney and Matt Milla's artwork as it's just spot on perfect for this book in capturing the tone and power as well as the tension.
