The Fandom Post - Chris Beveridge Jun 22, 2016

With my experience with the character being mostly in the 1980's through his own series and time in The Defenders, there's a lot of nostalgia there as I like those that exist in the periphery to some degree. Strange's role certainly has grown in recent years in dealing with the incursion and all that entailed as well as a strong role within Secret Wars. Here, it feels like he's thrown the shackles off and is lighter and more engaging, channeling a bit of the old Tony Stark to some degree as well in a fun way. Jason Aaron certainly keeps things moving here in exploring the world as he sees it, but it works better than it might otherwise because of how Chris Bachalo presents it. There's such variety and richness to it in the layouts, creature designs, the color work, and how it's all pulled together that it's boggling when you really get further and further into the book. This is a fantastic work that has me eager to see a whole lot more of it. Read Full Review
