    The only potential drawback to this edition is that its height makes it physically impossible for many readers to store it on a traditional bookshelf. After talking with Rich, neither of us are quite sure where or how to display this hardcover. It works best as a coffee table book. Even if you happen to have bookshelves spaced far enough to fit this book, it will tower over every other graphic novel in your collection. Even Art Spiegelman's In the Shadow of No Towers, formerly the tallest book in my collection, looks small and insignificant next to this. Ultimately, this is a logistical problem that can't be helped. Even shrinking the series down to Absolute Edition size would have had a detrimental effect on the stories within. I'll certainly take this hardcover over the original issues, which are certain to yellow and fade with age. Cumbersome though it may be, the Wednesday Comics HC is a fine piece of work.
