  Overall,Sweet Poolsideis underwhelming, unless youre a fan of the author's work. Theres fun to be had in comparing it to his other works and I respect that this is a more restrained story than we usually see from Oshimi, but thats not going to be enough for the vast majority of readers unfortunately.
