A passionate ex-gangster tries to make good in his second life as a tango dancer in this new 6-issue miniseries from writer Joe Kelly (JLA, ACTION COMICS) and artist Adrian Sibar (BATGIRL). But his world is thrown out-of-step when an old flame tracks him down, bringing with her the violence of his old life as well as the smoldering sexual conflict that drove them apart. She's sultry, vivacious and irresistible she's the girl of his dreamsbut she's carrying one dangerous, little flaw.
Bang! Tango is certainly interesting, but it also doesn't hook the reader immediately in the way Kelly's best work tends to do. I'll need at least another issue in the can before I'll feel comfortable in making a firmer judgment. For now, I'll just say that it was a fun first dance. Same time next month, eh? Read Full Review
