The fallout of a zombie apocalypse in Eugene Oregon is nothing compared to who's coming out of the closet in part one of "Repossessed," a new 5-part storyline. It's the perfect time to try the Eisner-nominated title that media savant and author Douglas Rushkoff says, "iZOMBIE breathes new life and unprecedented sexiness into a genre too often mistakenly left for dead. This is the one comic I am reading through the apocalypse."
Jumping on point?: It isn't a perfect jumping on point because a series like this is really structured around reading from #1 onward, but you could pick up this issue and not be horribly confused. "iZombie" month in and month out is dependable and enjoyable, two qualities that are a real blessing when together in comics. This is as good a jumping-on point as you're going to find, although if you give this one a whirl, be warned you'll want to check out the previous 18 issues as well. (Don't worry, the first year's already been collected into two volumes, which should help matters a great deal.) "iZombie," you can take a bite out of me whenever you want. Read Full Review
