This is a good start to what might be an interesting series. There is a new god at play, granting wishes to people and heaven wants Lucifer to help them deal with this crisis. Lucifer agreed, but asked for the price of a passage. In this series, the theme of free will and predestination is briefly touched upon here as we wonder at the extent of God's omniscient knowledge. He knew Lucifer would agree to his request before he even began to ask for the price of the passage and the author dealt with that quite well. I like this issue very much.
