    Dysart does manage to have some fun toying with fan expectations for a premature conclusion, hinting at a saccharine sweet hapy ending before ripping away that false reality and exposing a much more tragic and gut-wrenching finale. He then finishes this seminal series by reminding us that a frightening amount of this series has been firmly based in reality, and the horrors that haunt the African continent exist to this day. Unknown Soldier might have suffered a premature death due to lagging sales, but it's without a doubt one of the most powerful and moving works Vertigo has ever published. Read Full Review
