  McClaine who is in tune with Grillo-Marxuach's characters beautifully illustrates the sequence that initiates the change. Another artist might have misconstrued the event as humorous or even worse as an over-reaction by Wendy, but McClaine shows within a brevity of pages, what was meant to her and honestly depicts how she feels. He also shows within the scene exactly what makes her the prime candidate for the Middleman. In terms of choice, this is turning out to be a Golden Age for indie super-hero and adventurer comic books. Read Full Review
