Kingo joined the 7th Special Flower Funeral Forces in hopes of finding a way to turn Kayano back into a human. Makoto, the most senior member of Kingo's squad, as well as Kingo and Ayari, take down a Jinka that can create illusions and control their emotions and minds. After the difficult and emotional battle, Kingo and the others return to see Makino's corpse lying at the feet of the Funeral Director, who claims that Makino had been betraying them the entire time and was secretly a Jinka!
