Change the storyline at all costs! Armed with memories of her past life, Aileen d’Autriche is dodging the flags for a bad ending like a pro. With talented lackeys partners at her disposal, plenty of demons to bribe for information, and a new business plan to exploit the rich, things are going smoothly…But how is one to deal with a problem they have no prior knowledge of? Turns out, Aileen isn’t the only one with memories of a past life, and between both of their meddling, there’s no telling where the story is headed now!
Overall, Volume 2 of Im the Villainess, So Im Taming the Final Boss continues to be a highly entertaining read filled with interesting political machinations and cute moments between the two leads. It is, however, mostly a word-for-word adaptation of the light novel, and while I think it could have deviated from it further, it does at least make one surprising change that Im hoping will pay off as we approach the source materials climax in the mangas third and final volume.
