Yoru is a vampire, a predator of the night dwelling among humans. But instead of consuming fresh blood straight from the source, he’d much rather partake in the culinary delights of the human world. Fragrant stews, tasty meat buns, and sweet pastries are the most irresistible delicacies, after all! That’s why it’s a shame he’s a vampire—he can only stomach real food if he drinks blood first as an appetizer. Thus, Yoru whiles away his nights sinking his fangs into criminals and other evildoers, all for the sake of the beloved supper awaiting him…

I bought the physical copy. It is a lovely lighthearted book following Yoru Hioka(mc) and how he'd only target criminals for his meals. The art is outrageously gorgeous, so gorgeous that I'm jealous. Plot wise— I wouldn't say it is plot based, and I wished there was more content on the college student boarding there(I forgot his name). The timestamps are confusing, following two of the chapters, the first of which where Yoru says he's "drank too much" (drinking too much victims' blood)in a while and see the chief detective inspect the first victim ever since. The time stamps clash together. The second case is when they had an unnecessary 10 year time skip on the last chapter, yet not mention it anywhere. You'd have to recognize it yourself. more
