Thora's plan continues to come together as her slaves finally uncover the tomb of the arch witch Zamora. Thorne, Adraste and the Scarecrow barely survive their encounter with the Warlord while high in the mountains above the lost city Dorothy faces a new enemy who may permanently end to her second trip to Oz.
I always mention how well the artwork in Warlord of Oz sort of drowns out the world allowing the reader to really immerse themselves. This issue is no different. It is set up in a way where the reader can get this overwhelming sense of urgency in Oz with multiple panels depicting different perspectives. So all at once you're hit with the magnitude of the situation while also getting a sneak peek of situations in various areas of Oz. Read Full Review
Grimm Fairy Tales presents Warlord of Oz #4 is a sturdy release that further cements the current plight of our main characters. There's a lot going on and despite hiccups here and there the creative team crafted something that turned out to be good. Recommended. Read Full Review
