The Theater #1 makes an admirable contribution to the ever-expanding world of apocalyptic zombie comics fiction. The writing and artwork is strong, and the real-world movie theater setting evokes feelings of Creepshow, Twilight Zone, and other examples of the genre. This issue is set-up, and that's okay. But if the book goes longer than six issues without forward momentum, there's a risk of losing readers. Fortunately, this opening issue is strong enough for me to follow the next few issues and see where it goes. Read Full Review
