After months of dealing with the remnants and ramifications of her father's vile experiments, Liesel Van Helsing returns to the place where it all started, the laboratory of Abraham Van Helsing. Besieged by the horrors of her father's past, Liesel realizes that some pages should be left unturned.
VAN HELSING: DEADLY ALCHEMY delivers a thoughtful examination of the titular characters relationship with her long-deceased father as one of his forgotten experiments threatens Liesels existence. Mature writing is matched only by excellent art. However, a majority of this issue is spent on Liesels introspection, so readers may balk at the lack of action. Read Full Review
