It was overall fine but kinda boring journey at mid and in the beginning, i was really hoping for good moments at the end of the comics which everything was built up for but it turned out bad.
I think there are a lot of troubles like tons of gore and sexual moments are pushed all the time i mean i am fine with it but it just gets annoying sometimes when done a bit too much.
Second is the boys kills supes pretty much easily they just punches and hit them with bats and etc which made the whole thing just pretty boring and what the boys's power then from compound V? just strength? all same? it just brings all the tension down which makes it boring like for them only supes that are scary for them is homelander and maybe stormfront others are just thrown out.
Third, nothing really interesting happens at all because like fights that were exciting always ends up not shown, Black Noir vs The Homelander wow that's gotta be pretty intense fight but nope lol, next is Butcher just finishing off Black Noir and thats it. After all the built ups it's gone like how most of the the other fights go, for more it would be how a-train and deep's fight against butcher happened? and how jupiter orange hero just got stabbed by butcher did it just happened and others etc.
It was honestly hard to finish, just didn't really had any interest, although i like the story but most of the things are bad and is definitely not worth reading however the boys tv show is really good, it shows what the comics could have been with amazing actors and story is pretty much changed but in a good direction and you can entirely just watch the show for homelander aswell because the actor played homelander really good. more
