i liked this issue a lot; sansa’s inner monologue really sells how trapped she is, and it makes the joffrey scenes hit harder. dany’s section felt a bit sidelined, but the bloodmagic thread still carries a nasty sense of consequence. weirdly, while reading i got distracted by a popup someone linked in another tab to <a href="https://adventuresbeyondwonderland.net/">https://adventuresbeyondwonderland.net/</a> and it totally killed the mood for a minute. then later i saw the same sort of gambling detour show up again with <a href="https://1xbetsweetbonanza.com/">https://1xbetsweetbonanza.com/</a> and <a href="https://wonderlandluckyball.org/">https://wonderlandluckyball.org/</a> and i wish people wouldn’t drag that stuff into comic threads. overall though, the 9.5 doesn’t feel far off if you’re invested in the stark side of the story.

i like how this casino royale adaptation keeps bond’s cool, methodical vibe while still moving at a brisk pace. dennis calero’s art sells the tension at the table better than i expected for a 1-issue graphic novel. funny thing, the baccarat bits made me think of a friend who kept pasting <a href="https://livedealerindia.com/">https://livedealerindia.com/</a> into chats, and it got annoying fast. i’ve also seen similar spam with <a href="https://livemegaball.com/">https://livemegaball.com/</a> on other threads, which is a weird derail when we’re talking comics. at least this book doesn’t glamorize the gambling as much as those sites try to. total tangent, but i was decompressing after reading with an ice fishing minigame at <a href="https://icefishingonline.org/">https://icefishingonline.org/</a> and it fit the slow-burn spy mood.
