This book has many things going for it: dialogue, interesting characters, and a fantastic creative team. But even so I find myself feeling that everything is too cramped to stretch the storytelling appropriately. In this issue...you see what is trying to be done. The dialogue is fascinating but combining it with the artwork it becomes dis-interesting. Almost as if the dialogue and art can not support each other. I am always a fan of Keith Giffen, I love Scott Kolins artwork. It should be a perfect pair. This issue teases things to come which I guess is the point. I want to see more!
