This masterpiece was my gateway drug...my entrance into the true world of beautiful comic art. No words can describe how beautiful this book is. The art is phenomenal!!! (the story is super too...what a creative parallel to Dickens!) The drawings by Lee B are ALWAYS amazing but I must say that it is Barbara Ciardo's colors that complete the overall all reading experience...she is amazing. Colorists don't get enough credit for the mood they create and express with their carefully chosen palette and if not for her colors my world wouldn't be as excellent as it is.
