Turgid dialogue and weak characterisation make this beautiful looking book a bit of a chore to read. Hopefully, it finds it footing soon as there is potential.

The dialogue didn't improve sadly and there wasn't a lot here that was unique or surprising. There is a bit of excitement but unfortunately, it underwhelms.
