DC Comics News - Derek McNeil May 3, 2019

VerdictWhatever the future holds for Damian and Jon, this series is great fun and well worth enjoying while it lasts. Whether as an ongoing or mini, Tomasi's Super Sons is one of the highlights of DC's finest titles and their lineup won't be the same without it. Read Full Review

Black Nerd Problems - Mikkel Snyder May 1, 2019

This is a simple maxi-series. Tomasi has penned a tale of two superheroes-in-training, and Barberi brings it to life brilliantly. It is consistently one of the highest caliber stories in my pull, and the only thing I don't like is that it's coming to an end. Read Full Review

The story is highly engaging. The art by Barberi perfectly compliments it. Only two issues are left in this series. I can't wait to savor them both. Read Full Review

Robin and Super boy develop leadership skills and valued experience in this unforgettable space-adventure. I highly recommend this issue and would advise readers to catch up on previous issues before this 12-issue maxi-series comes to its conclusion. Read Full Review

You Don't Read Comics - Rick Lopez May 4, 2019

With Jon and Damian's time together as children is coming to its end, this series is not one to miss. The two young heroes have quickly wormed their way into reader's hearts as Tomasi and Santucci proceed to deliver some of the best chapters the series has seen with these last few. Read Full Review

    Comicsverse - Victoria Prisco May 1, 2019

ADVENTURES OF THE SUPER SONS #10 is jammed packed with action and excitement. Visually this comic looks like the next superhero blockbuster. Although there are some confusing bits of the story, overall, this issue is fantastic. Read Full Review

Comic Crusaders - Shawn Warner May 3, 2019

This is what comic books are all about, big action, high stakes and dynamic characters. Although this series is about to wrap up, I strongly recommend getting your hands on the back issues and joining in on the fun. Read Full Review

    ComicBook.com - Nicole Drum May 1, 2019

Full of action, this issue surprises with a few moments that make it look like the Sons might be betrayed by their robot friend Hex and it even looks like they may not make it out alive. That actually makes the story more interesting, which is why the reveal at the end that help has arrived in the form of the grown ups a little disappointing. Read Full Review

Weird Science - Jim Werner May 1, 2019

This was a fine issue, continuing the rebound from the last issue. I still want more out of it, but I think I've restructured my expectations now. This is a good book for what it is. I just wanted - and still want - more from it. Read Full Review

I'd lay Protobunker's bright colors and the dynamic movement of Barberi's characters in the hands of any youngster taking their first plunge into comics. I don't think there's anything more fun. With the surprise return of unexpected faces, how could anyone not be excited by the Super Sons? Read Full Review

The Batman Universe - Bill Heuer May 3, 2019

Overall, it still was a fun issue to read but it really didnt lead to much, even with twenty pages. My biggest problem was the fact the issue was that many pages when the actual events could have been shown on less than half that count. Read Full Review

Geek Dad - Ray Goldfield May 2, 2019

As the final in-continuity Super-Sons story " at least until Damian gets a growth spurt " heads into its final act, it loses most of the momentum of the clever last issue and returns to the same old battle with the Junior Legion of Doom. Read Full Review
