This series has been a bit on the grim and gritty side, but it also has heart, courage and a smart hero. Add in sharp scripts by Robert Venditti and excellent, vivid (and often epic) artwork by Robert Gill, and you have a powerful story to enjoy. Read Full Review

One month after critiquing this title for its sameness, Robert Venditti and Robert Gill flip the script, literally, offering a wonderfully unique new direction that immediately rights a seemingly veering ship. Read Full Review

This issue definitely gets a new reader engaged and anticipating the next issue. For those who like their action laced with a healthy amount of medieval leger Shakespearean dialogue, Eternal Warrior should be right up your alley. And it will lead you into the wonderful world of the Valiant Universe, which is one of the best but more compact hero universes in comics. The only shortfall in this issue is that not much happens action-wise. It is a lot of talking, and I get why it is needed in an arc, but it did not get me amped up as much as a more adventurous issue might. As an adventure comic, Eternal Warrior is one of the best, and I am sure that there are great things to come. As it stands this is the best of solid, well-written and drawn comics, and a great ramp to what I am sure will be an epic follow-on issue. Read Full Review

Comics Bulletin - Daniel Gehen Oct 15, 2016

Wrath of the Eternal Warrior #12 is a solid issue that sets the series up for a big finale in its final two issues. Though it is not the series at it's best, it captures the strengths of the Eternal Warrior " his tenacity, his resourcefulness, and his willpower " while still providing an entertaining read. Robert Venditti's script is effective in building tension between Gilad and his antagonists, but it is the art team that truly shines. The work put in by Robert Gill and Mike Spicer is the reason to pick this up. Their output is simply stunning. Read Full Review
