X-Men (2013) #1 |
Jul 19, 2014 |
All things considered, an ok start for two newer creators but, definitely not a must as far as X-Men stories go. I'd recommend if you had some extra cash to spare or just like to support new creators at Marvel. |

Wolverine and the X-Men (2014) #6 |
Jul 26, 2014 |
As a full issue, it was what I was saying about the whole series, inconsistent. I mean if you can't get me to say your book is amazing even with a great Doop appearance then something's wrong. I'm sure it'll find it's footing along the way but I think that as far as X-books go it right in the middle of the pack. |

Original Sin #8 |
Sep 5, 2014 |
After reading the last three issues of this series this final issue was a sight for sore eyes. Although Aaron wasn't able to achieve everything I had been hoping for here, he did a good job. |

Guardians of the Galaxy (2013) #19 |
Sep 26, 2014 |
This was a pretty good overall issue that started to get us closer to the answers that this storyline promised. For anyone who read the first Guardians series with this team I would definitely recommend picking up this arc and trying out this series. |

She-Hulk (2014) #7 |
Aug 9, 2014 |
Like I said earlier this book isn't for everyone. Some people like your standard superhero fare and don't need much more but if you want to try something more "indie" while also staying at Marvel this is a great option. |

Original Sin #7 |
Aug 17, 2014 |
As a full issue this one isn't anything special. I think that this book suffers from being released in issues and that it will read better all as one. My biggest problem with this issue is that it failed to make itself interesting outside of the next issue that's coming out. |

All-New X-Men #33 |
Sep 20, 2014 |
Although All-New X-Men is one of my favorite books, I wasn't too fond of this issue. It didn't have much plot or character development and seems to be a sloppy method of getting Miles into this comic. I still have faith in Bendis to make this a good arc, but this issue didn't help much. |

Spider-Man 2099 (2014) #1 |
Jul 13, 2014 |
So it's a new Spider-Man book with a decent start, that's still yet to hook me and give me a reason to come along for the ride. Although it could pan out in the long run with some solid creators, I wouldn't go all in on this one until we see a little more. |

Inhuman #3 |
Aug 17, 2014 |
My final say on this book is that if you weren't sure after the first two issues and all the delays this is a great time to jump on. I don't think that this book is anything too special now. I do think however think that Marvel still has big plans for this book and hope that it continues to build steam. |

Moon Knight (2014) #7 |
Sep 7, 2014 |
Definitely give this one a try if you liked the first six. I'm a little worried that the orders will drop more than they should because people write this one off early. This was a quality issue by Brian Wood and Greg Smallwood and I'm excited to see where theytake the story. |

All-New X-Men #31 |
Aug 28, 2014 |
All things considered this was another great issue of All-New X-Men. It's no secret that the X-Men are my favorite superhero team and Bendis has done well by me so far. If you've been enjoying the book so far or even if you fell off along the way this is a good issue to pick up. |

Magneto (2014) #9 |
Sep 12, 2014 |
This was a great issue of a great series. It was also a good first showing for the upcoming Axis event and while it didn't reveal too much about that it did begin making me even more hyped. It also helped that this issue had a slightly different structure in how it played out. |

Cyclops (2014) #4 |
Aug 30, 2014 |
In total, this was a great all around issue. While it did feel a little insignificant in the grand scheme of the book it was a very fun read. If you've been enjoying this father son dynamic and story, Rucka doesn't fail to provide what you want. |

Daredevil (2014) #6 |
Jul 25, 2014 |
Another month, another great issue for the book that consistently is one of the most outstanding books Marvel puts out on the shelves. No book has me more actively interested in an individual's life and story that I didn't care about before reading the book. While I did miss the artwork of Samnee here it still was a thrill to read as well as look at. I think that this is a slight tonal shift for the tie-in but they kept it rather smooth and unnoticeable for the general audience. This one gets a definite yes from me. |

Rocket Raccoon (2014) #2 |
Aug 8, 2014 |
If you can't tell yet, I'm a huge fan of this book and these characters. This captures everything that I love about Rocket and Groot and should be bought by everyone who reads Guardians of the Galaxy. I think that this could be the start of Skottie Young's established writing career and hope that this book continues on for a long time. |
