This is just a comic that does what B.P.R.D. does well very well, and with the added treat of Laurence Campbell's haunting, beautiful art, it's an up month for the Bureau.

I think the book is super on point right now and it feels like they're just getting some of the chess pieces in the right place before something big. I'm really excited to find out what that is.

It was a more straightforward read, but it was still excellent with just top notch art. It's really hard to not love a book with Ba and Moon's art.

This issue had just about everything you'd want from an Abe comic.

A sad, solid entry

This is just a damn fine comic book adventure, with phenomenal work by Zonjic in particular. Welcome back LoJo.

Comics as a medium can, often times, get stale and formulaic. And, while there may not be a ton of clues and winks to guide you along, "Hellboy in Hell" is nothing if not groundbreaking and challenging. I applaud it.

From a written and artistic standpoint, this was a very, very solid issue with some great moments.

Harren's action sequences are always a highlight, and these are no exception. It is hard to draw a sequence where the readers are, more or less, clueless about what is happening, and Harren walks that line between utter insanity and deliberate visual storytelling. The last ten pages or so were just a master class in how to draw action.

It's not a bad comic by any means, I just felt it was an underwhelming finale that happened to have phenomenal art.

we read a lot of comics, and We get exposure to a pretty wide swath of them " indies, mainstream, licensed, webcomic, etc, so I think we have a pretty good grasp on the general state of comics publishing. I say that to say this: I'm pretty sure that is the least essential comic I've ever read.
