Patsy Walker, A.K.A. Hellcat! #14 |
Feb 7, 2017 |
The major blow to this arc is the absence of regular color artist Megan Wilson. Her subdued yet still vibrant style is the ideal companion to Williams' art and this is why I can't give this book a perfect score. However, Rachelle Rosenberg does an admirable job but the book's character isn't quite the same without Wilson. I love this book and just reading it has somehow made me a nicer person. Spend a few minutes chuckling and do something happy, read Patsy Walker AKA Hellcat! Can't wait for #15! |

The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl (2015) #16 |

This book's biggest fault is solely because its mostly flashback. I know that's harsh but the writing is solid, as usual, and the art is as always beautiful. Overall, I can't recommend this series enough. If you haven't read The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl yet do yourself a favor and pick it up. Can't wait for #17! |

Squirrel Girl is one of those books that can appeal to almost anyone and the supporting characters are interesting enough to carry stories by themselves. If you want to read about mutual respect and perhaps some computer science The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl is for you! |
