Die #1 |
Dec 5, 2018 |
Die Issue #1 is an oversized issue, and thank god for that because this title is addictive as hell. Loving fantasy roleplaying games isn't a requirement, but it certainly adds another level of enjoyment. |

Middlewest #1 |
Nov 22, 2018 |
Middlewest has something for every fantasy fan. There is enough world building in the art of the town to make me need to know more after only one panel, but further images of dirigibles and deco-punk trains make it clear this world is not our own. The characters are fleshed out after only two conversations. Finally, the magic that is imbued in so few pages makes this a must read especially for those who can identify with a character like Abel and those of us who also enjoy kid-on-a-quest stories as much as Scottie Young. |

Poser #2 |
Oct 2, 2018 |
Poser is an admirable addition to the horror comic genre, there's no denying that. It's just that it's an overdone premise. It's got a creepy villain who may or may not be reborn from a watery grave, characters who already seem to be falling into the classic tropes despite breaking molds in terms of representation, and love quadrangles that will likely end in death. That said, I'm going to push aside those horror movie expectations that Poser is only too happy to adhere to and at the very least, the art will make it worth my time. |
