It's been a fun but woefully incomplete ride.

A Haunted Girl (2023) #1

Oct 12, 2023

All in all, "A Haunted Girl #1 is a lavishly produced comic with a strong, poignant premise, that may or may not have its serious themes undone by campy imagery and plot developments. For the sake of the creative team, and anyone reading affected by the subject matter, I really hope it lives up to its promise of inspiring anyone dealing with suicidal ideation to confront the demons in their lives, and win.

Welcome back Matt!

Monstro Mechanica #1

Dec 15, 2017

A promising start bound to excite both readers fascinated by Leonardo da Vinci, and those looking for a suspenseful adventure yarn with a genderfluid protagonist. It remains to be seen how the suspense is maintained over an ongoing series given we know Leonardo's historical fate, but for now this is an intelligent slice of historical fantasy.

Star Trek: Year Five #20

May 21, 2021

Whether or not the next issue lives up to this, this was a great idea, and the subversive take on Surak should be acknowledged and canonized in the TV shows.
