Reasons to buy this book: In the surge of DCs superhero comics, this series brings us a little of the supernatural side of DC mixed in with some horror elements. Ray Fawkes and Juan Ferrerya continue to up the ante with each issue. With only three issues left, there are many people hoping that DC will reverse its decision to cancel this book, so make sure to vote with your dollars. Overall, another killer issue (is that a pun?) from Gotham by Midnight.

Huck #1 is an amazing start to a blockbuster series. With superb writing and exquisite art, this book is sure to impress. I give Huck #1 10/10 and if I could go beyond that I would. This was an amazing read. I implore everyone to go out and read issue one.

Reasons to buy this book: Jason Aaron and Chris Bachalo have made Doctor Strange one of those characters you just want more of. If you are at all interested in the movie coming out next year, this is a great jumping-on point. We get a great look at the mystical side of the Marvel universe, which is a side we don't get to see very much.

This mini-series is only five issues so you don't have to feel like you will be weighed down by an overly long story. Mignola and Golden have crafted a masterful story that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Swamp Thing #1 is a near perfect read and left me with a huge smile on my face. Its good to see Swamp Thing back in his own series.

Reasons to buy this book: If Secret Wars has you run down on tie-in issues that leave you feeling empty, give 1872 a try. With one issue left, each issue has delivered a solid read. It was recently announced that Red Wolf would be getting his own series and that he would be jumping from the universe in this book to the all new all different Marvel universe. If else-world stories interest you in the slightest, I suggest picking this up. I had a few minor gripes with the issue, mainly with how it ended.

If you missed the pre-flashpoint Superman, then this is your ticket to having that character again. Jurgens and Weeks craft a beautiful first issue and leave the reader wanting to know more about where the story will go.
