Revival has brought a lot to the table, and promised a lot more. I'm excited to see where we go and what can happen in the next (hopefully) 30+ issues. Since its inception, we've grown to really care for the characters. So much so, the death of May Tao was a legitimate shock. But now we get to see where these characters go and how they react when everything has changed.

In February its sales came in at 276th with only 5,573 units sold. It seems like, even with the reservations I have, this would be doing better. It could be that this book needs to be read from the beginning. That's not necessarily a bad thing. There are plenty of other comics that are like that. Usually those titles lean heavily on plot and mystery, pulling in readers solely on the promise of a big payoff. But if you're hoping to increase readers and looking for a proven method, there's one thing that Marvel and DC have figured out.

Perfect as an end to a story arc or as a standalone issue.

Bythe end I found myself excited for Secret Wars, just to see the Spider-World shaken up one more time, and, hopefully, deliver something truly amazing.

Over the course of the past couple of issues we've had tons of questionsalmostcompletely answered. Thankfully, we still don't have the full truth. There's plenty more Revival to come. This is a series that rewards its readers with mystery.

The climax of the issue comes when Kamran reveals who he truly is by taking Kamala hostage and introducing her to the Inhumans that are leading a revolt against Queen Medusa, a predictable scene only because of how often love interests turn bad in superhero comics, but still an amazing development for future issues to play with. Big things are coming for Kamala and as long as the quality remains as high as it's been since the inception of this series, readers will definitely be pleased.

By the end it's almost heartbreaking to see Palpatine commanding the clone troopers to carry out Order 66, the death sentence for all Jedi, if for no reason more than how likable and entertaining Billaba and Caleb are together. The coming issues are sure to take a dark turn, but one that will hopefully illuminate more of how Kanan came to be. The Last Padawan is definitely a book worth adding to your pull list, but be careful! By the end you'll be craving for an ongoing series.
