Loki: Agent of Asgard #1 is another true gem from Marvel. Loki finds a way to be everything you want out of the character while far exceeding those expectations.

It smartly lets law become a character within the story without resorting to sensationalism. No small feat but one worthy of She-Hulk.

In Velvet Templeton, Brubaker gives comics a new strong, capable character you didn't know you were waiting for. Velvet is uncomplicated in so many ways but is a character whose life is made complicated by the decisions of others. That's where her biggest challenges come from and the true driving force behind this story. I'm definitely all in.

With its promise of death, S.H.I.E.L.D involvement, an intriguing new villain and more, Elektra #1 is definitely a book I'm very much excited about.

Shutter #1 with its strong characterization, gorgeous art and promise of adventure and legacy simply has me ready for more.

It just feels a bit like looking back over your shoulder and seeing this place you loved growing a bit smaller with every step you've taken away from it.
