Ultimately, I feel this issue of The Invincible Iron Man was much weaker than the previous. In terms of story it didn't feel like there was any progression as we jumped back and forth between Riri and Doom too often. The comic is seemingly confirming my fears that it will be unable to fully work through the three plots of Riri facing the board, Doom tracking down his escaped criminals, and most importantly The Search For Tony Stark.

Overall this issue had a strong start to what has been hyped as the biggest Iron Man story of all time. The story did a good job of setting up the mystery of what has happened to Tony Stark and it gave a good update on where are main heroes, Riri and Doom are at this point.

Ultimately, Doomsday Clock #2 does a great job of following up on the expectations many had after reading the last issue. But it does more in that it finally delivers on its promise to unite the Watchmen and the DC universes. With the questions this new issue has raised I know I cant wait for next month's issue to hit the shelves.

While we have to wait some time for the next issue is it ultimately for the best as the art from Gary Frank is well worth the wait. Each page illustrated by Frank perfectly captures the essence of Watchmen but still has its own flair. So with two months to go until issue #6, it will be exciting to see what Frank and Johns have in store for us after the exciting finale of today's issue.
