Invincible Iron Man #594 entertained me from start to finish. Bendis Ironverse is one of my favourite corners of the Marvel Universe and this issue is just another great chapter in two grand stories. Great words, great art, great comic. Read Full Review
The series continues to build nicely, and as much as I enjoy Ironheart's adventures, I'd like to see more of the original hero in these pages. (It's been his comic for quite a while, after all.) Hopefully that's just around the corner. Read Full Review
An enjoyable read with every woman close to Tony taking charge and command and fighting back. Read Full Review
This is good, but I want something great from this book. And I've been waiting a long time for that. Read Full Review
While it does feel like a filler issue in the Search for Tony Stark story arc, Invincible Iron Man #594 is a fun read for the present. The two stories are entertaining enough, and it has two solid, if conflicting, artists for its two main plotlines. I can recommend it, even if it isnt the most compelling read. Feel free to pick it up if youre a fan of Ironheart, Doctor Doom, or the Iron Man corner of the Marvel Universe in general. Read Full Review
This issue had plenty of interesting elements, but didn't move the story forward much at all. Hopefully we get the Doom / Riri reunion sooner rather later and see the search for Stark take center stage. Read Full Review
With #600 (that is not actually, really #600) quickly approaching, and Bendis exiting Marvel Comics, this book feels like we're on the cusp of a big, blowout finale chapter, which will theoretically return the players to first positions for the next Iron Man writer. My biggest hope, based on the respectful use of Ironheart thus far, is that she will remain in play, and while I still don't know what, exactly happened to Tony Stark, I'm interested in seeing how his return plays out. Ultimately, I feel this issue of The Invincible Iron Man was much weaker than the previous. In terms of story it didn't feel like there was any progression as we jumped back and forth between Riri and Doom too often. The comic is seemingly confirming my fears that it will be unable to fully work through the three plots of Riri facing the board, Doom tracking down his escaped criminals, and most importantly The Search For Tony Stark. Alternating between Alex Maleev and Stefano Caselli's art make the telling of two stories a fun and easy read. Bendis seems to be foreshadowing a return to villainy by way of face burning. If that's the case, there's no better artist to handle it than Maleev. Doom is in good hands. Read Full Review
Kind of a cheap cop out cover. Really like that Doom is still around the art for his scenes are the best. Even Riri's half is good as well. The story moves at a Bendis pace and Tony is still "Missing"
This issue was fine, nothing much happens really. It just establishes that the (SPOILERS) “women of Stark” are now out of Stark Enterprise and the criminals who Doctor Doom had prisoned are now more mad than ever. The pacing of the story was slow and I just can’t really help but say our heroes of the story are in the wrong cause for 1 Hijack was hired by the board. 2 they are now commiting crimes for keeping the suit and for assault. And lastly, though this is not related to the topic but Riri depends more on the A.I. than her own self. Meaning she keeps on weighing in on the A.I. rather than thinking by herself and really using her brain for once. Which makes me think the reason why she is a “genius” because she’s bookish thatmore
Same review again: great art, great banter but the slow plot pacing keeps it from an eight.
The Tony Stark Nanny Squad fights the Stark Board, Iron Doom fights his grudge-group of villains, and nobody in this story called "The Search for Tony Stark" has actually started searching for Tony Stark yet. How exactly did the creators combine two titles into one and *still* end up with a shortage of material? Brian Michael Bendis's script is way too lazy and digressive, and it feels like Stefano Caselli and Alex Maleev are in a contest to see who can put in less effort on the visuals. Mr. Maleev is the winner in this issue, slapping muddy green washes over linework that I think would look downright shameful without color. Mr. Caselli is *definitely* trying for the slacker prize too, though, and his pages aren't up to his usual high standmore
This One was bad too. Going back and reading this arc was a total waste of time. Just terrible. Straight to the dollar bin.
And bendis lost me with this arc. Festival I really didn't care about Tony return (Already, seriously ?)
I love Iron Heart.
And we have to more of Doom presence.
Sorry but that not what I sign for so I will leave in January.
Cover - Awful, not related to what i Read. Really You didn't draw at lest a old Iron man suit. The White Shadow for a previous is ok, for a cover this is cheap guys. 0/2
Writing - 1/3 ... Sorry but not even close to the fun I read when Bendis start this volume.
Arts - Caselli was a little better, but still not Pichelli or Marquez. 2/3
