Solar: Man of the Atom #1 |
Apr 15, 2014 |
I think this title is worth a few more issues, if only to see more of Solar's power usage. If the weird coloring remains, though, I'll be dropping this book faster than Solar transmogrified a machine gun into an orgy of atoms. |

Turok: Dinosaur Hunter #1 |
Feb 4, 2014 |
I can't recommend Turok: Dinosaur Hunter #1 to anybody. As a single issue it lacked basic story telling, or a sense of anything, really. I will, however give it a few more issues to see if they retroactively make this review 100% wrong. I'd gladly accept that defeat if it means a good Turok story. |

X-Files Conspiracy: TMNT #1 |
Feb 19, 2014 |
For an issue in the middle of a crossover I hadn't read a single issue of, I was shocked that I actually enjoyed it. Was it the best TMNT or horror story I've read? Absolutely not, but it was also far from the worst. |

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Utrom Empire #1 |
Jan 21, 2014 |
I'm excited to see where the story will go with only two issues left, and if you're getting the proper Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series I guarentee this will be essential reading for a future arc. Definitely pick this up! Seriously guys, its only three issues (unfortunately). |

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2011) #30 |
Jan 28, 2014 |
Northampton doesn't need to rely on throwing in modern interpretations of familiar mutants every few pages to keep our attention, the story and art are doing a fine job holding their own. |

The Sixth Gun (2010) #38 |
Jan 29, 2014 |
This issue was one of the best of the 38 issue run so far. It had a nice balance of a huge cast, great action, and two really gut-punching deaths of main characters. With the series due to end at issue 50, you should just bite the bullet and pick up the trades! |
