Doctor Strange: Mystic Apprentice #1

Overall great story, great art, and if your new to the Doctor then the Origin story is for you as well. I can't wait for the second issue.

Flash (2011) #32

Jul 2, 2014

Venditti conjures up such great writing in this issue, that I'm left wondering what the hell is going to be happening to Barry, Wally, and this mystery villain! Let's not forget about Booth and his talented artwork. I was enveloped in this comic so much with his detail to each character, their facial expressions, and the action!

Green Lantern (2011) #33

Jul 3, 2014

Venditti starts us off with the Durlan fleet invading the planet Zezzen for their seamlessly endless power supply and the Lantern Corp are racing to get there in time on Mogo (their now mobile command planet). Hal Jordan then leads the corp into battle against the Durlan and puts everything on the line to literally hold the line. With a few awesome twists and great one liners that we have come to expect from Venditti the story progressed amazingly with almost nonstop action.

Green Lantern Corps (2011) #33

Jul 16, 2014

I know a lot about the actual issue isn't explained, that is something that you will have to find out for yourselves. The only other thing I will say is the beginning is not the only surprise. Jensen also decides to throw in something that I can't analyse, and we won't figure out until next time.

Justice League (2011) #31

Jun 30, 2014

Even though there was not much action the issue was packed withgreat information, and as always the comedy between league members was great. I can't say thatnot having a lot of action is a bad thing, I just like action. But I can tell that this story feels like it is headed to a fast, action packed place. Johns is clearly not afraid of doing crazy off the wall things that you don't see coming unless you pick this issue up.

Justice League 3000 #7

Jun 10, 2014

This issue kept you going and going. When there wasn't action, there was intense plot details, if there wasn't anything else, the fact that we are slowly getting our Justice League back emotionally, is a terrific thing to watch. Giffen is delivering in my opinion, and I'm excited to see where this story leads. It's only seven issues in people! Get to reading!

New Suicide Squad #1

Jul 16, 2014

Victor Sage doesn't waste anytime sending the newly assembled team on a mission, that seems to be a piece of cake. This is where the issue truly takes on pumping adrenaline! The team is sent to Russia to take care of some people who are “stepping over the line”, and Roberts takes us through pages upon pages of each team member doing what they do best. Ryan keeps great dialogue up while Roberts pounds the pages with blood, battle actions that can make you wince, and clever battle strategies that could be expected from a “crazy” team like this.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time #1

Jun 18, 2014

The one great thing about this issue, is the fact that I found myself smiling and laughing with almost every page. Allor seemed to have the moods and characteristics down with our classic ninja's. Campbell's artwork was easy and clean, making it refreshingly effortless to follow. On top of everything else, this comic had a great balance between action and accomplishing the story line.

The 7th Sword #3

Jun 11, 2014

This comic seems to have everything going for it. Robots, mutants, samurai, and did I mention we are on another planet? If I only had one gripe, it would be that I wish the comic had a little more length to it. Other then that, an all around great read.

Transformers: Robots In Disguise #30

Jun 10, 2014

The artwork by Griffith, Coller, and Cahill was as always, great to see. In reguards to the rest of the issue, Sideswipe said it best. "I miss the old days"find a Deceptacon, blast a Deceptacon."

Uncanny X-Men (2016) Annual #1

Nov 17, 2016

Overall, this comic is worth the read. As someone who had been distant from the X-Men universe, I would continue to find interest in seeing where this arc leads.
