As the warlord Kavanaugh gathers his army of cyborgs, mutants, and assassins, Cray must find a way to defend ZenZion using the limited resources available. But how can one disgraced warrior train an entire citizenry to defend itself without molding them into cold-blooded killers in his own image?
This comic seems to have everything going for it. Robots, mutants, samurai, and did I mention we are on another planet? If I only had one gripe, it would be that I wish the comic had a little more length to it. Other then that, an all around great read. Read Full Review
The issue ends with Cray satisfied in his warriors but news of the size of the army Kavanaugh can bring to bear forces Kathleen to ignore the samurai's wisdom yet again and set her technicians to reading the unreliable Hamerhead killing machine to fight alongside the group in hopes of improving their slim odds. This is a series that feels like it's been around for a while, because the world is rich and thought-out, and the story is engaging. Luckily for you, readers, it's only been three months, so there's plenty of opportunity for you to catch up on the back issues before the shit hits the fan. Get on that. Read Full Review
