7th Sword isn't going to be a game-changing comic any time soon. But I'm more than okay with that. It's well-crafted, and each issue leaves me satisfied, but also waiting for the next one, which is a delicate balance and difficult to strike. The 7th Sword #2 sets up the arc for the remaining issues of the mini-series with the warrior agreeing to train and fight for ZenZion while teasing the possible romantic entanglement of Cray and Kathleen which might entice the samurai to stay far longer. Worth a look. Read Full Review
The first issue had a bit of flair but had many slow moments which, unfortunately, this issue is also mostly made of. It might be cool to see where it goes, but this issue doesn't give me much faith things will get any more exciting than watching a woman do her nails. Read Full Review
All in all, this is a very weak follow up. I can't find the unique angle in this comic and, if it has lost it's sense of direction, it'll need to regain it fast. Read Full Review
