Anyone who wasn't sure about reading this series up until now should definitely do so, because it seems as though things are about to get even more interesting. As a fan of any type of horror, whether it's zombies, witches, Lovecraft… or even if you're just an Archie fan, you need to read this series. That was the case in the first five issues, and it's even more the case now. There are so many questions now, about what will happen next, and it's going to be difficult to wait for the next issue to find out! |

Emerald City of Oz #1
Jul 6, 2013 |
The combination of the writing and the art, plus a story most people are already familiar with, is just perfect. Nobody could do a better job than the people who have put this together. The Emerald City is also good for anyone of any age, kids who would appreciate the adorable lightness of it, as well as adults who grew up on Oz. |

Emerald City of Oz #5
Dec 13, 2013 |
The story closes with a page featuring L. Frank Baum himself – an absolutely perfect ending to this absolutely perfect series. Without a doubt, it leaves the reader wanting more… but all good things must end and this is the best place to do so. It's been an amazing run, and it's something everyone should pick up – whether it's the entire series or just one or two issues. It's a light read for absolutely anyone, and it's a perfect addition to any Oz fan's reading list. There's not a single bad thing a person could say about this issue. It's bittersweet, but what a wonderful way to end it. |
