Agents of Atlas (2019) #1

Marvel seems to be spinning a bunch of fun titles out ofWar of The Realms, and Agent's of Atlas might easily be the best one yet. It's a nice little corner of the MU being showcased here and if you are looking for something different and fun, give'Agents of Atlas'#1 a try.

Alpha Flight: True North #1

Alpha Flight: True North is telling three stories, and as such, each is segment is different in tone and style. Yet ultimately they all have something in common: a strong emotional core about dealing with the past. They all also succeed in execution and make great use of the shorter format as well.

If you have or have not been reading 'Black Hammer', then 'Black Hammer/Justice League' #1 is a must buy. It's a perfect introduction to this world for new readers AND it's thrown a wrench in the ongoing mystery for the longtime fans. It's truly the best of both worlds.

Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues #1

Cobra Kai is a fun book and well worth it to just have more Kagan McCloud on a printed page, once again drawing martial arts. If you loved the movie and like the show, you'll totally be into this. It's fast and fun. Throw in McCloud's art and you have a book that should be checked out.

Criminal (2019) #2

'Criminal' is one of the best ongoings of the moment and a perfect reason to actually buy and read monthly books. With it's shorter arcs and bonus material it's a no brainer actually. Let's hope this goes on for a while because it's a great world that deserves to be visited every month.

Doctor Strange #400 is the kind of anniversary issue all celebratory chapters should strive to emulate. It pushed the current story forward toward a huge moment, yet also has some nice, quite callbacks and stories that give credence to the timelessness of the character in question.

These Hit-Girl books have been entertaining and fun, and have allowed for some great creators to leave their mark and tell their stories. This new 'season' seems to aim to do the same, and starting with a team like Kevin Smith,Pernille rum and Sunny Gho is a great way to set a new standard.
