Like your favourite band doing that one farewell tour too many, the choice to re-start the 'fable' seems misguided.

Conan enters Messantia, clashes with the monks, falls into the sea and is picked up by an Arosian slave ship. Leading a mutiny and overcoming the slave masters he leads the ship to Khemi the City of the Snake!

Percy is expertly keeping the reader (and Blaze) guessing as to what is really going on and why Blaze has no memory of his exploits as Ghost Rider. Intriguing.

There are definitely shades of WE3 in the story, the art is nice and there's a series of short stories to enhance the sense of world-building. Overall a nice solid read.

This has been a heart warming mini series about friendships old, new, lost and rediscovered. The art by Dozerdraws is superb and Walls leaves the door ajar for a sequel. Roll for initiative!

Tynion expertly keeps the reader guessing as to how this will conclude, and Martinez Bueno consistently provides some outstanding contrasting art styles month in month out. DC's best book bar none.
