The Fox story is interesting and works well, but fails to give the reader a sense of accomplishment. The Shield story is much better, with a narration that sucks you into the action. Art and writing is great throughout, except for the inks on the Shield story, but maybe that's just me. Don't let these shortcomings prevent you from buying this issue: if you're interested in the Red Circle universe, definitely go out and pick up this issue.
