Batman: Prelude to the Wedding: Nightwing vs. Hush #1
Jun 12, 2018 |
One more time Im left with a warm fuzzy feeling inside, mixed with the apprehension of the clear party poopers that are going to crash the wedding, as shown in the epilogue. Seeing the relationships between the Bat-family and adjacent members towards the bride and groom to be is fanservice enough to last me a lifetime, and all the action peppered in between its just as awesome and enough to satiate my thirst for blood. |

Batman: Prelude to the Wedding: Harley Quinn vs. Joker #1
Jul 3, 2018 |
In the end, the Jokers biggest complain, of not having been invited to the big wedding takes the spotlight, and the epilogue paves the way for the events on the serial The Best Man, seen in Batman #48 and #49, the two issues preceding the big day. |

Regular Show: 25 Years Later #1

All of that, combined with a writing that is just as bizarre and wonderful as an episode of the series, is more than enough to leave me urging for more. |

Batman (2016) #48
Jun 13, 2018 |
If you add to that some way for Batman to beat down the Joker and leave us with a dubious sense of justice, that could be a nice standalone story, but the options are kept open in the end with the introduction of Catwoman, which left me urging for the next issue. |

A story well told, if not a little confusing – but this problem will definitely be solved once I get to the previous issue. |

Catwoman (2018) #1
Jul 10, 2018 |
As an introduction to a new phase in the characters life the story works. Things are a tad confusing for now, but soon enough, Selinas new motivations and the motivations of this new villain and her twisted plans should be made clear. The potential for greatness is there, just havent shone its brightest yet. |

Witchblade (2017) #6
Jul 2, 2018 |
The 90s kid in me was more than happy to find the same mood of the old school Witchblade with a new story to be told. It took me some backtracking to get really invested in the characters, so if possible, start with number #1. After that the story will run smooth as silk, but without the backtrack, its hard to understand what is going on. |

Sincerely divided about this. Doomsday Clock is good, but still has to prove the need of its existence to me. |

Detective Comics (2016) #982

This has been done before as well. Batman is an introspective hero, but it takes the right writer to deal with it, and Detective Comics its not quite there yet. |
