Overall, issue four is a mixed bag; heavy on character but lacking in story progression. I trust Johns in his plans for this title moving forward, but while an enjoyable read I felt there was something missing. That something is a clear "end" for this arc which could be frustrating at times. But knowing how Johns has operated in the past, perhaps not knowing how something will end is for the best.

If you are a fan of the GL universe this is the book to be picking up. The status quo is changing and you should be there to witness it.

Overall issue #6 was a good read. Johns continues to extend his legendary run by giving great characterization to Sinestro and Hal, directing their new directions while bringing in some old threads from earlier in his run. What keeps this issue from being better is the art but this is still a good read for any Green Lantern fan.

Overall GLC #2 is a very entertaining book with chock loads of action and character moments. This new enemy is very intriguing and it will be interesting to see how they and the Corps are related. This book should be on your pull-list every month as it gives Green Lantern a run for its money.

Tony Bedard has begun to elevate his game with every issue of Green Lantern he writes. This series has become his baby just two issues in and he's making the best of it. It's just a good time to be a GL fan when four books are delivering every month.

Continue reading this title as seeds are planted in this issue, like Larfleeze's connection to Invictus and the return of a team member, which have me awaiting next month's edition. Despite this setback, Green Lantern New Guardians is still a great team book. Hopefully issue #7 will get to being just that.

Overall the issue is a solid step towards the conclusion of the first arc. This issue would have received a higher review if not for the rather glaring problem mentioned earlier. There's still a mystery to be solved, but that will be taking a step back so the team can resolve the Invictus and Larfleeze confrontation which by what happens at the end of this issue, should be a doozy.

Overall, issue three was ok. It falls between the first and second issues where it doesn't have the overly dramatic dialogue from issue one but lacks the action and plot movement from the second. The pacing is this story's major flaw, and hopefully with Bleez now alongside Atrocitus the plot of this book can come into fruition.

Overall, Red Lanterns #4 was the weakest issue so far. The potential is still there but Milligan is really trudging towards some conclusion. That conclusion is definitely unclear but his characters are entertaining, but a story with no clear plot is lost.
