An exciting new adventure with a likeable cast of characters, some unique sci-fi concepts, and disgustingly wonderful alien designs.

The second issue of this new sci-fi horror title keeps the same energy as the last while expanding on a few characters.

This third issue gets quite bloody as things start to get more intense, however this title doesn't quite land the character based drama this time around.

Everything is really ramping up as it feels like we're approaching a big story-point in this tale. If you're a fan of sci-fi horror, Rogue Planet is a title you need to jump onboard of right now. It can only get more tense from here.

A fun and unexpectedly tense sci-fi horror adventure with a band of classic characters.

A big improvement on the first two chapters, the third issue of Sweet Tooth is an exciting ride with high-octane action and sweet character moments.

This prelude has fun characters, slick martial arts, and massive action set-pieces that are guaranteed to get you hyped up for the first issue.

But there's enough here in this issue to hold your attention, and the writing for the characters is so good that I'm quite invested in their arcs and want to see where they go. Fingers crossed that the world of Fire Power opens up a little bit more in future issues though.

There isn't much else to say here without spoiling it, but if you're a fan of crime thrillers, perhaps even neo-noir, this is a title you'll have a lot of fun with. The plot may be a bit familiar, the characters aren't particularly deep, but that all works in the book's favour and help deliver a tight thrill-ride.

While quite light on plot, the first issue of Sea of Sorrows sets up a dark, tense adventure, which I'm excited to see pan out. If you're a fan of historical horror, this is a title you might find yourself getting hooked to!
