Then: After an unfortunate death, Simon, the benevolent leader of the city's homeless population, takes steps to keep the "kingdom" from falling apart. Meanwhile, Edmond, Simon's disgruntled and defeated rival, sees an opportunity to exploit the people's pain. Now: Son discovers a link to his father, and the looming Thumbless War begins!
It is unclear whether or not the story is going to follow a certain character, or if it will continue to show what is happening with each character. I wouldn't mind either way because it wouldn't take anything away from the book. Read Full Review
This is a significantly slower issue than the previous ones. It's much more political and attempts to stir the intrigue pot with plotting and organization but never quite fully realizes that potential. Despite that, the penultimate issue does setup a dramatic finish that should be a worthy romp to close out a fun story. Read Full Review
