It should come as no surprise that Happy Hour #5 doesn't disappoint. If anything, it could be the strongest issue of the series. This penultimate issue takes things to a new place as it also emphasizes the greater theme of the series. There aren't many series that are able to provide such a thoughtful statement on the human condition, but Happy Hour seems to do it easily and with a strong emotional component that is palpable. A satire as broad as it is shallow, Happy Hour #5 makes its point by bludgeoning its characters as well as the readers. Not for everyone, but nonetheless a fun diversion for those seeking a diversion from the agony of existence. Read Full Review
