Aug 28, 2013Executive Assistant: Assassins #14 has the problem of being a bit too by the numbers but there's so much that's worthwhile here I'm inclined to say ignore that fact. Because what takes place between the lines is enough to allow fanboys and fangirls to forgive such a minor bump in this narrative. Recommended. Read Full Review

With a lot of very uncomfortable moments in both writing, art and overall theme, the "Daisy" arc of Executive Assistant: Assassins has been a train-wreck of tropes and poor representation. While the talent of the creative team is certainly still evident, the content being pushed here is not something that should be celebrated, and hopefully, as this series goes on, will be removed entirely from further issues.
