A young Mexican couple narrowly escapes the Juarez Cartel by fleeing across the border into Texas, only to be run down in the desert by the Cartel's most brutal thugs. Rescued by a mysterious local who takes them to the safety of his family's ranch, the couple soon realize they are trapped in a house of horrors beyond their wildest imagination, and the army of assassins on their trail might be the least of their problems.
While it may fumble its handling of social problems, Red Border #2 is still a chilling and well-paced second chapter in this unique thriller. Read Full Review
Red Border definitely heats up with this issue. In looking at the series so far, I wish the revelation in this issue had come earlier. It would have packed a bigger punch and certainly upped the stakes from the get go. Now that we're here, I'm excited to see where we go next, as it's sure to be a path full of bloodshed and terror. The plot and overall story feel a little disjointed and unclear to what story is being told. The art is absolutely incredible, and while it might not be quite enough to justify the cost of entry it makes the price of entry a little more palatable because of how good it is. Read Full Review
