I love the normalcy with which the vampire kids are portrayed compared to the vampire hunters without taking away the air of menace. And on the art side, Wayshak has a little bit of that Richard Corben flair for any time someone is doing something monstrous and does a little classic newspaper cartoon style for the more mundane moments.                                 	This was a really good first issue.  It did a great job of setting up the situation, explaining the world and characters and putting the plot into motion.  The art was fantastic and fit the vibe perfectly.  The writing was sharp and entertaining.  The vampire-eaters remind me of Blade 2 heh.  Definitely going on my pull list.
Edit: Since the subsequent issues don't seem to be getting added here, I'll touch on issues #2 and 3 here.  It's still going great, with fun characters, fun villains, great writing and incredible penciling.  The only complaint I have is the coloring.  The art would be among the best in the business if the coloring was better.  There's so much detail and stylish flair in the line work, and then the coloring i more                                
                                	Impossible to say if the main characters are meant to be adult little people or children who swear like sailors. The art makes it unclear.
As to the plot...it's Mike Carey, so plot there is not.
