Two reluctant time travelers find themselves trapped in a nightmarish future where time travel has become a deadly game. Bertram has become an audience favorite, and is forced to keep fighting in the Time Games. Meanwhile, Spatz is brought to meet the creator of the Games, and learns more about this strange future where he is stranded.
Overall, an engaging third issue, in a comic book that already has shifted the paradigm in how to tell a story about time travel. The story by RFI Porto is unconventional, smart and kinetic. This is definitely my favorite “indie series” that's out right now. The concept is amazing and the artwork is spot on. Just when I think I know what they are going to do, they do something completely different which will definitely keep you interested cover to cover. If you aren't reading this series, you should be.
